Re: Zero, it was the anime to watch this year. Everyone around me was talking about this series. Each Sunday I could expect to hear from my friends as we would watch it together over skype. This show is the reason why I have some new and great friends. I want to remember this fantastic series and the excitement that surrounded it. In doing so, I made these designs all surrounding the series.

Emilia, the reason for this entire story arch is one of my personal favorite characters. While she is not often in the show, her character is sweet and calming. Emilia is saying, “Please rest” because she is always looking out for those around her even with the difficulties surrounding her character. She is often found comforting Subaru (our “hero”), which I still don’t entirely understand why as he goes insane most of time. But regardless, her character and design is one that I will love for a long time and I wanted to capture that in this design.
